Manufacturers' agents and manufacturers face unusual circumstances these days. No matter what the business climate, they can operate in practical and positive ways that help navigate during hard times…and reap the rewards.

One way is to understand your personal talents and develop them into solid strengths. To prepare for this Teleforum, we encourage you to take Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessment. You’ll need to buy one of their StrengthsFinder books (there are a number of them) which provide a unique access code. Then go on-line (instructions are in the book) and take the 25 minute assessment. Once completed, Gallup will immediately give you your top 5 strengths. We will spend part of our discussion exploring how to apply your strengths to your job – whether you are a leader in a rep firm or manufacturer, or a rep.
